    How To Style: Boyfriend Jeans

I think one of the hardest clothing pieces to find is a good pair of jeans that fits you in EVERY area and is also on trend.  When I worked at The Buckle I was always surrounded by jeans and I honestly only wore one of the brands.  I had bought my first pair because their was a promotion of 60% off of the brand Kancan Jeans, and I thought “why not”.  (it was the black, distressed pair in this post)  I ended up LOVING them so much I bought another pair the next day (not for 60% off).

Later I ended up leaving The Buckle, and a few months later I was in contact with Kancan Jeans and they allowed me to pick a pair of jeans to style and photograph.  I had some in mind, but it didn’t really work out, so I picked my second choice of jeans.

When I got the jeans in the mail I was in shock.  When I tried them on I literally gasped.  Then I immediately started grabbing items in my closet to style them, because I don’t think I would ever take them off.  I knew that Kancan had comfortable denim, but I never knew they would hold the holy grail of distressed, boyfriends. I just HAD to make a post about them, because they have changed my life. [cue dramatic, slow building music for emphasis]

My absolute favorite way to style a pair of semi-slouchy, distressed boyfriend jeans is with a pair of strappy sandals and some sort of basic tee, whether that be graphic or simple.  This is the perfect style for those cool summer nights out on the town with a group of friends or a stylish/relaxed date night look.  With a good pair of jeans, the possibilities are endless.
