    Spring Break Look-Book

I spent my Spring break in South Beach Miami. It was a lovely trip and the weather was perfect for any type of style. I decided to create a look-book with a few of my favorite pieces for Spring and Summer.

    Outfits

    Party in the USA

Probably one of my favorite looks. I say this because, it is casual but still cute and honestly, gives me Miley Cyrus, Party in the USA era vibes. All I’m missing is a messy side braid–which could have worked.

I wore this as I walked down Ocean Drive and going into local shops and restaurants.

Black Lulus Top, Similar One Teaspoon shorts, Black Slides, Straw Bag, Black Quay Sunnies.

    Sunny Sweetheart

Red Dress Boutique is GOLD when it comes to quality, affordable clothing. I have worked with them once before and I still wear the pieces at least once a week. My favorite piece would definitely have to be this sweet, little, white, eyelet dress. The details in the pattern, the darling little tie straps–EVERYTHING, has me obsessed.

Little side note: it does fit true to size, I have an XS and it does NOT stretch. I probably could have done a small because it was riding up a little because of my hips.

    Business Casual

Hard to see in this photo, but the print on this set is a faint plaid. // Two piece sets are a saving grace when it comes to trying to pick out an outfit; hardly any thought required at all. That’s why I knew I needed to bring this set along with me. The frill detailing on the bottom added a little *umph* to the pieces, making it seem a bit more feminine. I paired it with a chunky belt to hide my stomach after we ate, a straw bag that tied in the belt, and a pair of Seychelle slides.

    Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I don’t know why that was my first thought when it came to naming this outfit, but it is what it is. Let me just start out by saying–I LOVE this bralette. When I saw it on Lulus, I knew I had to get it. The little white flowers and the cut–it was just meant to be. I wore this to breakfast at Rosettas (which you can see in my Miami Guide), and into a local convenient shop. It was light weight and I felt good wearing it–which is SO important.

You can never have too many Accessories

    Subtly Bold

I was recommended by a follower on instagram, to check out Mint Jewelry and I am so excited I did. I found these beautiful, dainty rings that are dipped in 14K gold, so I didn’t have to worry about my finger turning colors!

I will recommend sizing down a half size if available. I did notice a few rings were just a little big on me, but I was able to manage.

    SHOP MY LOOK:

Hand to the Right: Bar ring, Arch Ring, Thumb Ring 1, Thumb Ring 2

Hand to the Left: Blue gem on thumb, Multi blue gems, Solid gold ring.

    Rattan Round Bag

The next couple pieces I picked up from Mint, were these super cute, stackable necklaces. I have LOVED this layering look for the past two seasons and I don’t see it going anywhere any time soon. One piece I keep seeing pop up all over the place is this double horn pendant. When I saw it, I knew I had to have it.

    Shop My Look:

Star Choker, Circle initial pendant, Double Horn pendant.

    Go bold with my favorite
    SWIMWEAR

    Floral Femme

This is the most beautiful swim suit I own. Look at the colors!! I would wear this as a swimsuit (obviously) and as a crop top while in South Beach. It has the cutest little tie and knot in the front and the bottoms are the perfect coverage!

    Little Blue Polkadot Bikini

I couldn’t stop singing “she wore an itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny yellow polkadot bikini” the entire time I wore this and was bummed that it wasn’t yellow. Besides that, I think I need this swimsuit in every color it possibly comes in. The fit and wearability of this suit is like no other. The ruching up the middle adds the sculpting effect to anyones bum and the top can double as a crop!

    Mix and Match

Last year I traveled to Hawaii where I collaborated with a company named Moss and Malibu. I had such amazing feed back with the photos we created, that I knew I needed to bring their newest print and styles with me to Miami.

    OMG… Shoes

    Slide right by

These.. like, these.. Let me say it again… THESE! I can’t get over how adorable this pair of shoes are. The slide style is a HUGE hit right now and with mules starting to fade out with summer time, the thick covered slides are starting to appear. I picked up these from Seychelles and coincidentally their name is Jasmine!

**I would probably size up in these, I have a 6 and would have preferred a 6.5-7!

    Icon Living

The name of these sandals say it all: Iconic! Seychelles just released these beauties and they were my go-tos. They are comfortable, the heel isn’t too high, and the natural Raffia really made these stand out.

**I would size down, although I usually wear 6.5 in sandals, I would go to a 6 in these, just for a tighter fit–however, I wasn’t discomforted by them being a little loose.
